M/S Vajiram & Ravi is India’s well-known Institute preparing candidates for the Civil Services Examination at all the three levels – UPSC Preliminary Test, UPSC Main Examination and Personality Test. The Institute was founded in 1976 by Professor P. Velayutham who had to his credit numerous academic distinctions from India and abroad, including a diploma on International Law, awarded by the International Court of Justice, The Hague. Since its inception the Institute has helped over 5000 students to enter the Civil Services including IAS, IFS, IPS and other Central Services. Every year some of our students have secured positions amongst the first ten successful candidates. We conduct “Prelim Test Series”, consisting of 32 weeks, objective type tests on GS and CSAT. It begins in the month of October and ends in May , before the Prelim exam. The “Prelim Test Series” confers multiple benefits on the candidates. It induces a sense of focus, discipline and regularity in a candidates’ preparation. After that We conduct Online GS Main Test Series or the Classroom GS Main Test series right after the Prelim Exam in mid August.

The Preliminary Test is by far the most challenging stage of the Civil Services Examination Vajiram and Ravi is a pioneer in the IAS Prelims TestSeries Programme with more than 40 years of experience. The Vajiram and Ravi Test Series initiative began at the time when Optional subjects were tested at the Preliminary stage. As a result the institute has a huge question pool prepared by experts over the years apart generating fresh quality questions every year in sync with the civil services exam.

Current Affairs is of paramount importance for the preparation of the Civil Services Exam for all the 3 stages of the exam.
